NCERT introduces 10 bagless days for classes 6-8 to promote experiential learning

• The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released guidelines for implementing bagless days for classes 6 to 8 in India.

• These bagless days aim to make learning more experiential and stress-free by exposing students to activities outside the classroom.

• During these days, students will visit historical and cultural sites, meet local artists and craftsmen, and intern with vocational experts to gain practical knowledge and explore potential career paths.

• The guidelines encourage schools to integrate these bagless days into the teaching-learning process and allocate at least 60 hours of school time for these activities.
