Delhi Experiences Season's Coldest Morning Amidst North India Cold Wave


• Delhi recorded its coldest morning of the season on Wednesday, with a minimum temperature of 4.8 degrees Celsius, the lowest this season and a prediction of further drop to 4 degrees Celsius on Thursday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

• This cold wave is affecting several north Indian states, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir, which experienced fresh snowfall; the IMD forecasts that these cold wave conditions will persist in various regions until December 16th.

• The IMD's detailed forecast includes predictions of mainly clear skies, smog/mist in the mornings and evenings, and specific wind speeds and directions for the coming days, with minimum temperatures in northwest and central India expected to remain relatively stable over the next four to five days.
