• The Centre has announced staggered working hours for its employees in Delhi to combat pollution, with offices permitted to operate either from 9 am to 5:30 pm or from 10 am to 6:30 pm. This measure aims to reduce vehicular pollution by encouraging carpooling and the use of public transport.
• While Delhi's AQI has shown a slight improvement compared to previous days, it still ranks as the second most polluted city in India, behind Hajipur in Bihar, which recorded the highest AQI of 403 on Thursday.
