• Intel's upcoming Arrow Lake Core Ultra 5 245K desktop CPU has been leaked, showcasing impressive performance gains over its predecessor, the Core i5-14600K.
• The Core Ultra 5 245K features a 6 P-Core and 8 E-Core design, with a base clock of 4.20 GHz and a boost clock of up to 5.2 GHz. It also has 24 MB of L3 cache and a 125W TDP.
• In terms of performance, the Core Ultra 5 245K scored 2248 points in single-core and 18,354 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench 5, surpassing the Core i9-12900K in both categories.
• While it comes close to the Core i9-13900K in single-core performance, the Core Ultra 5 245K shows an 18.1% uplift in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor.
• The CPU is expected to launch in October 2024, along with other unlocked SKUs in the Arrow Lake lineup, including the Core Ultra 9 285K and Core Ultra 7 265K.
