• Durov refused to share documents demanded by authorities and allegedly enabled gangs and criminal networks to conduct illegal transactions on Telegram.

• Durov, who was arrested on Saturday, has been granted bail and ordered to pay $5.6 million while the case raises questions about freedom of speech and the responsibilities of tech platforms.
