SpaceX's historic mission with first private spacewalk postponed due to weather

• SpaceX postponed the launch of the Polaris Dawn mission, which aimed to conduct the first-ever spacewalk by private citizens.

• The launch was delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions in the splashdown areas off the coast of Florida.

• The mission, led by billionaire Jared Isaacman, will see a four-member crew travel to an altitude of 870 miles, higher than any crewed mission since the Apollo era.

• During the mission, the crew will conduct a spacewalk wearing newly developed SpaceX extravehicular activity suits.

• Polaris Dawn is the first of three missions under the Polaris program, a collaboration between Isaacman and SpaceX.
