• Southern Railways has extended special train services to meet the increased passenger demand during the Onam festival in Kerala.
• The Kochuveli - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special train will run on September 3, 10, 17, and 24, while the SMVT Bengaluru - Kochuveli Weekly Special train will operate on September 4, 11, 18, and 25.
• These special trains feature 16 AC Three Tier Coaches, 2 Sleeper Class Coaches, and 2 Luggage cum Brake Vans.
