Last week, Google released the Pixel 8 Pro smartphone both internationally and in India. The Pixel 8 Pro features improved cameras and a new Tensor G3 SoC, but its front design is nearly identical to that of the Pixel 7 Pro. Here are our initial thoughts on the phone.

With a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ OLED LTPO screen that features a variable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2400 nits, the phone's screen is 60% brighter than its predecessor. The viewing angles are decent and the screen is bright. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
There has a 10.8MP camera with autofocus and support for 4K 60 frames per second video recording housed in a central punch-hole display. The secondary speaker is located in the top-mounted earpiece. You cannot enable the front camera for safe payments, however it does function for face unlock.
The small bezel at the bottom is also visible, while the bezels at the top and sides are not really noticeable. Operates on Android 14. For the first time, the business has committed to providing security updates, feature drops, and OS updates for the phone for seven years.
It has a Titan M2 security chip and the Google Tensor G3 SoC. This has good performance and is faster than the previous generation.
